Because this has come up in play; I need to bring this to you guys' attention.

The Prince has every right by the book to withdraw a blood hunt. There is nothing within the actual white-wolf wiki that says otherwise; nor anything I have found in a book aside from quoting "tradition"; nor anything that I can find within the white-wolf forums that says otherwise.

I will quote where a player is getting his information from.

Quote
.... "Unfortunately, even if the accused is found to be innocent, it is often after the fact, and tradition dictates that once a blood hunt is called, it cannot be stopped."

Tradition. That does not mean it cannot be stopped. And further:

Quote
A hunted may attempt to flee the city and seek a new haven, an option occasionally offered by princes who are being forced to exile someone in the mae of stability or when the offense does not warrant death. However, by tradition, the hunt remains in effect in the city, no matter who rules in the future. The hunted should never attempt to return unless she wishes to court Final Death.

Again, the word tradition comes up. It also says that the Prince can call a blood hunt, but still give the option to allow the individual to leave the city instead.

Also, I would have to say to know what I quoted above would be a Camarilla Lore of 2. To understand that it is tradition and not that the Prince could call it off if s/he wanted to...

Again. I will reiterate the word "Tradition" in the quotes. I will also reiterate the ability to allow the accused to leave should the Prince want it.
