I'm looking for a few links to tie together those Kindred who will be going for Age. Because, you know, history is fun! If you're playing a character that's pre-1900, post here with when and where they were Embraced, and what you're looking for in terms of links.

My character Gitte, a Ventrue Embraced around the 17th Century, in the Baltic/Nordic states of Europe. She's been active for most of that time, save for a few lapses into torpor.

I'm particularly looking for enemies and allies earned over the years, blood bonds (at that age, you're going to have one or two), Boons owed or owing. I'm also looking for someone who's just as old/older/around that age for some very, very delicious stuff (if that doesn't exist, I'll have to find an NPC, and that's just not as cool.)

<Ambrose_msk> please tell me that gitte isnt the prince lol

Well, assuming my grel gets approved he is embraced in 16th-17h century in northern Norway, spent a hundred years or so wandering around in Scandinavia, Russia and Germany before taking the boat along with many German immigrants in 1840ish and have been in the area ever since.

Occult Scholar embraced in 1888. He owns a bookshop called the Last Page since the 50's or so. He is seemingly friendly and outgoing. He is willing to offer advice and aid to people in return for boons. I wouldn't mind having some past boons given or taken, friendships and rivalries.

Pieter Janszoon was embraced around 1630 around the Caribbean Islands. He's been around St. Louis since the city was founded, though occasionally disappearing for longer periods of time. Ship builder, carpenter, linguist.

It's not Pieterzoon wink

It's actually really common back in the days to be named as such. Zoon stands for 'son' and before Napoleon paid Holland a visit, we didn't quite have last names. smile

Hahaha. That's a pretty epic switch though. I'm totally expecting people to know that Ventrue and look at me funny when I tell them my name...
