| A fire broke out at a hotel in Providence Oregon earlier this evening. Witnesses state that there were no warning signs of a fire but it seemed to come out of nowhere. All of the hotel guests on the first and second floors were safely evacuated while the 3rd floor guests were trapped. Fire fighters and rescue volunteers helped at least 20 people get out of the 3rd floor via windows but sadly not all could be rescued.
Officials say that the fire seems to have started in the maintenance room on the 3rd floor due to some electrical malfunction. Further investigations will be conducted. Many of the guests that died in the hotel fire have not yet been identified. More on this story tonight at 10.
