| ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A 26-year-old woman was found brutally murdered on Sunday night in a wide open area in Forest Park. St. Louis Police spokesman James Gordon stated that the woman was identified by family as Mona Hargis, a personal trainer and amateur in the St.Louis MMA scene. The body was found shortly before midnight by a couple taking a stroll through the park.
There are no witnesses at this time, and the St. Louis Police Department urges anyone with any details to please come forward.
Spokesman Gordon reports that the police are exploring possible leads into the inexplicable death and strange positioning of the victim's body, as well as another cryptic message. The woman, who apparently died from blunt force trauma, was found positioned in a "V" shape with a crude circle drawn around her in what appears to be blood. Written also in blood,the message left behind reads "No doubt the Kings are safe, while this Rabble broke in two. When the Tower falls, will it land on you?"
Spokesman Gordon was unable to confirm or deny that the events of Tuesday evening and tonight were related and referred all further questions the St Louis Police Department's Public Affairs office.
