| My Dear Kindred of St. Louis,
No better place to start my first post then with the obvious. Johnathan Strohbeck has been banished from this domain after his Grace showed the mercy to hear the pleas of Primogen Monroe to call of the blood hunt. In the mean time it is hopeful for clan Ventrue to now be represented by such a respectable kindred as Primogen Monroe. Given recent acts of chivalry one could expect more loyalty to the Praxis from Primogen Monroe then that of her predecessor.
I would not be meeting my duties as a harpy if I left out the part Primogen Yaroah played in this thankfully failed plan to seize Praxis. Though i must say it pains me dearly that my own Primogen aided in such devious schemes. Let it be noted that I will meet my obligations as harpy to report scandal regardless of what ties I have to the guilty. Mr. Strohbeck was invited into a clan meeting of the rose by Primogen Yaroah unknown to the rest of us. That night he was allowed to speak to us as if he were the Toreador Primogen, and directed us to aid him in this scandal. Though the rest of us are rather please with the performance of his Grace. Primogen Yaroah also had warned all the rose that if they were late to the clan meeting that there would be consequences, and yet when a neonate did not show there was no action taken against him. Are these blaring examples of passive negligence the actions of who the rose want to represent them, or for that matter a voice any kindred wants on the council? It leads one to think why a far more vigilant, respectable, and loyal rose such as Whip Edwards is not representing the Toreador on the Primogen council.
Primogen Kathy of clan Nosferatu, congratulations to you for being selected by your own to represent your clan. I'm sure you'll be of good service to your own and the city. How decent of you, Frederick Buchannon, to so graciously step down from a position that you gave to yourself. Now that there are enough Nosferatu in the city to properly select a representative we all look forward to what you can provide to the domain.
On a more positive note it is good to see that Sheriff Regi is taking proper measures to ensure that the city stays safe. Speaking of the rabble, I should offer my congratulations to Primogen Tavington. Always a delight to be in the company of a Brujah that is not only willing to physically protect the Praxis, as seen during the unfortunate events at last court, but also has manners. Dare I say that I see good things coming from clan Brujah? With the mention of court we should honor those who so bravely risked there own lives to protect us all including, but not limited to memeber's of Clan Brujah and Gangrel respectfully, Prince Lyon, Seneschal Benoit, and newly appointed Scourge Monica. In fairness Whip Edwards and myself also did our part along with others that are best providing aid to the battle instead of fighting it. Clan Gangrel it should be noted that, although most of you rightfully claim Independence in this domain, that your members showed prompt action to give proper retribution to offences against Camarilla members. We should all be grateful for such actions.
Prince Lyon has equipped the court with proper officials in a time of war given the example of such individuals to defend our city that eve. Like it or not, the recent appointments show wise decisions from Prince Lyon in such times. We should all hope to look forward to further actions of wise discretion from his Grace.
That fateful night of court I witnessed a city united. Clan members working together, and assisting those of other blood with out argument. I'm sure that I am not the only one among us that hopes that feeling of a domain of united kindred can once again find us, because most of the actions since that night have been an example of quite the opposite. It pains me that my first report was filled with scandal of those I care dearly for, but I am not one to cast aside the facts for anyone. It would be a disservice to us all to have my reports reflect my loyalties instead of the truth. That being said I have faith in this Praxis, my clan mates, and all the Kindred that reside in St. Louis that we have the ability to learn from our mistakes and move forward to nights of unity and strength that would be an example to other domains of what a Camarilla controlled city should look like.
