Kindred of St. Louis-
It pleases me to say that the city continues to thrive despite current economic hardships and our numbers
seem to grow each night. There are many new faces, all eager to abide by the 5th Tradition and seek permission to stay in this Domain. Due to the recent surge in the Kindred population, I feel it to be a necessary evil to outline the particular protocol I expect regarding Acknowledgements.
All new arrivals should first seek their respective Primogen immediately upon entering the city. From there, I expect the Primogen of their respective Clan to properly interview this new individual. After such time the Primogen is confident the individual is a proper Camarilla representative of their Clan, and is certain the individual is indeed of Camarilla decent, the Primogen will then contact Seneschal Benoit to organize an appointment with the Throne for acknowledgment. It is stressed that the Primogen must be willing to offer their support of their clanmates wishing to remain in my Domain, it is on their word and status in our society that I consider the acknowledgment. Kindred should not expect to come into this city and immediately be accepted as a member of this community until these expectations are met by themselves and their respective Primogen. If the Primogen is unavailable, the Whip of the Clan may stand in for the acknowledgment in their stead.
Once this insurgence of new faces has been seen to, I will be narrowing these meeting to two opportunities per month. Twice a month I will see individuals and their respective Primogen or Whip for acknowledgment. Once early in the month and then another later in the month, typically during Court. If a Primogen does not feel confident in the individual they plan to present, please wait to present until you are confident. Again, it is your reputation as a Primogen that I see your new members for acknowledgment.
For the time being, Gangrel of Independent descent will refer to Ms. Cecilia and she will claim the responsibility that has been posed upon the Primogen for the Independent sect until such time a Camarilla Primogen has been selected.
