Clan Forums: How They Work

| You will notice that your Clan Forum is completely empty at this moment in time. As the game is getting going and "real life" Primogen are being established it is now a good time to let you all know how it will be handled.
Each Clan Forum will represent either A. the physical location that all clan members use to post messages (i.e. a board of sorts) or B. an electronic means by which you all communicate. From both and IC and OOC standpoint it will be up to the Primogen, yes Primogen, of each clan to "set up" this location and monitor it.
- In Character: this means you can do whatever you want to set up how your Clan communicates.
- Out of Character: this means the Primogen Player will select a "password" to secure the Clan Forum.
So how do I access the Clan Forum then? Well on an IC basis you will need to get the location or passcodes or whatever from your Primogen. On and OOC level you will be given the password to your "Forum".
Primogen will need to change the password from time to time as players retire or lose characters but can also change the password for In Character reasons, including but not limited to:- someone in your clan gives out clan information by supplying the location of this information to another individual. (yes, a non-clan player may be given the password through IC means and it will not constitute metagaming)
- the Primogen decides to shun an individual and remove them from the knowledge base.
There are many things that can be done with these forums and we hope you take advantage of them.
PRIMOGEN: to access your Forums and set your initial password please PM Kounterfeit45 on the forum with the names and status of all members of your clan (as current as possible) and the initial password you'd like to set.

| I'm going to bump/add to this.
As Primogen give us passwords for the forums - they will start opening up so that everyone can see them. YES... everyone. However, the catch? To get into the forum you have to have the password.
This is so that ICly your character CAN get access to the forums if they are outside of clan with the right RP - or... so that if your character is disliked by the clan/Primogen they can oust you and make it so that you can't get any information from clan postings and you have to go directly to the source.
So, when you start seeing more forums show up - don't think you have access. Without the password, you and your character have none
